Action Precision Machining manufactures precision carbide boring bars for miniature holes as small as .025 and as large as .360. Our boring bars are unique in that they are created on center then relieved to size for optimal chip clearance. The tapered design increases rigidity for cutting even the smallest of holes and are often used on lathes in addition to automatic screw and milling machines.
We manufacture both solid and brazed carbide boring bars. The brazed carbide boring bars are made from carbide inserted into 3/8” hardened steel shanks and range in sizes from .025 to .300.
Our solid carbide boring bars have varying shank sizes and range in minimum hole diameters from .025 to .360.
